Welcome to the online home of Bethel United Church of Christ.  Bethel has been a vital part of the community that makes up Nebraska City, NE for the past 125 years.  Bethel's faith practice is structured under the faith tradition of the United Church of Christ.  We place Jesus Christ as the sole head of the Church and we strive to emulate his mission and ministry in this time and place.  As a practicing community of faith in the tradition of the United Church of Christ we look to the word of God in Scripture and pray as did Jesus:"...that they may all be one" (John 17:21).  With Jesus Christ as the cornerstone and founder of our Church and the Holy Spirit in our midst, we believe that God has richly blessed us here.  We praise and give thanks to God for his redeeming grace and mercy in and through Jesus the Christ as our Savior.

If you are looking for a Church home the people of Bethel will welcome you because no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome!  Come just as you are and receive the welcoming embrace of Christian fellowship.
